Jon Duckett’s HTML&CSS/JavaScript&JQuery books – brief explanations and a lot of images

I have tried a couple of intro coding books an tutorials before, all of which I quit after being overwhelmed by some lengthy passage that I couldn’t understand.

After a couple of frustrated attempts, I stumbled upon How to learn JavaScript Properly Study Guide that recommends the Jon Duckett’s JS books as an alternative for visual learners.

The book presents programming concepts in the following manner: a brief explanation, visual references, and code snippets.
Going through the books, and tinkering with the new concepts in Codepen was the approach the worked best for me.
